Acrilyc on dibond and resin | Natura Morta Series | 2018
In my work I try to see the things that surround me with other eyes, enlarging the details of the objects. My works want to be a starting point for the observer to learn to grasp the most hidden details.
the work is an exploration of the beauty and delicacy of a detail of a blue orchid, focusing exclusively on the curves of three of its petals. I chose to use the acrylic technique on MDF to create a work that captures the essence and grace of the petals in a simple and essential way. In the painting, the sinuous curves of the petals of the orchid are represented with fluidity and harmony. I worked with care to capture the softness and lightness of the petals, creating a sense of movement and grace in the composition. The choice to focus only on the curves of three petals allows you to explore the shape and structure of the orchid in a more intimate and essential, inviting viewers to reflect on the beauty of simplicity and the complexity of natural forms. The use of MDF as a support gives my work a stable and resistant surface, allowing it to work with precision and detail. Through this work, I wanted to celebrate the delicacy and elegance of the blue orchid, inviting observers to immerse themselves in the beauty of details and contemplate the wonder of nature.
