My main research is based on seeing the things that surround me with other eyes, cancelling the original shape, enlarging the details of the objects observed to give them another aspect and therefore a new life. Common objects, if looked at very closely, can take on new and original forms, losing consciousness of the original.
My works want to be a starting point for the observer to learn to grasp, even in everyday life, the most hidden details to the naked eye, putting aside the superficiality that accompanies us every day preferring the hidden beauty.
Color is an aspect of reality that is so obvious and at the same time so elusive, when you pause to think about it. Color is not only a natural phenomenon, but also a complex cultural construct that avoids generalizations. There is no transcultural truth about color. It is given a definition and meaning, which creates its codes and values, and defines its use and application scope. The problems of colors are first and always social problems, because the human being does not live alone but in society.
Color is therefore defined primarily as a social phenomenon.
I examined three colors and put them in relation to each other to create a composition that can work both as a whole and individually. I aimed to represent a division while also engaging in a collaboration between colors, not just between one color and another but also within the same.
