Acrilyc on dibond and resin | 2018
In my work I try to see the things that surround me with other eyes, enlarging the details of the objects. My works want to be a starting point for the observer to learn to grasp the most hidden details.
This work is an ode to the beauty and complexity of the purple details of a cynara scolimus, commonly known as artichoke. I chose to focus on this particular aspect of the plant to explore its elegance and intricate structure, using the technique of acrylic on dibond, protected by a resin finish to ensure durability and shine over time.
In the painting, I captured with precision every detail of the purple petals of cynara scolimus, highlighting their sinuous shape and their rich and vibrant hue. The sheen of the resin adds depth and intensity to the colors, creating an almost three-dimensional effect that invites observers to explore every nuance and every fold of the composition.
The support of dibond gives stability and resistance to the work, allowing you to expose it safely and durable. The protective resin finish not only preserves the brilliance of the colors over time, but also adds a luminous effect that attracts the eye and gives a modern touch to the work.
Through this detailed representation of the purple petals of cynara scolimus, I wanted to celebrate the beauty and complexity of nature, inviting viewers to reflect on the wonder and diversity of the plant world around us.
