“DALIA” – PRIVATE COLLECTION

50 cm x 70 cm

Acrilyc on dibond and resin | 2018

In my work I try to see the things that surround me with other eyes, enlarging the details of the objects. My works want to be a starting point for the observer to learn to grasp the most hidden details.

“Dalia” is an ode to the majesty and delicacy of the petals of a red dahlia. I chose to represent a detail of these wonderful flowers using the technique of acrylic on dibond, protected by a resin finish to add depth and durability to the work.
In the painting, I captured with precision every fold and every shade of the petals of the red dahlia. The vivacity of the red color is made even more intense by the sheen of the resin, which gives a luxurious and three-dimensional appearance to the work. Every detail, from the playful shadow on the curves of the petals to the light iridescence that emanates from the resin, has been carefully taken care of to convey the beauty and fragility of this flower.
The choice of dibond as support adds strength and stability to the work, allowing it to be safely exposed in any environment. The protective resin finish not only preserves the brilliance of the colors over time, but also adds a glossy effect that attracts the eye and invites observers to immerse themselves in the details of the composition.
Through this work, I wanted to celebrate the ephemeral beauty of flowers and invite viewers to reflect on their fragility and their ability to bring joy and beauty into our daily lives.
