Acrilyc on paper | 2018
In my work I try to see the things that surround me with other eyes, enlarging the details of the objects. My works want to be a starting point for the observer to learn to grasp the most hidden details.
The work is an interpretation of a detail of a yellow, red and white Kalanchoe. I chose to use the acrylic technique on paper to create a work that captures the essence and beauty of the petals without additional distractions. In the painting, the sinuous curves of the petals of the Kalanchoe are represented with fluidity and harmony. The choice to focus only on the curves of the petals allows you to explore the shape and structure of the flower in a more intimate and essential way, inviting viewers to reflect on the beauty of simplicity and the complexity of natural forms. Through this work, I wanted to celebrate the grace and elegance of the petals of the Kalanchoe, inviting observers to immerse themselves in the beauty of the details and contemplate the wonder of nature.
