Acrilyc on paper | 2018
In my work I try to see the things that surround me with other eyes, enlarging the details of the objects. My works want to be a starting point for the observer to learn to grasp the most hidden details .
This work is an exploration of the connection between nature and the human body through a detail of a pink peony, in which the details of the petals seem to recall the shapes and nuances of human organs. I chose to use the acrylic technique on paper to capture the softness and delicacy of the petals, while exploring the similarity between the organic beauty of flowers and that of the human body.
In the painting, the peony is carefully depicted to highlight its resemblance to human organs. The delicate pink tones blend with shades of white and red, creating an effect of depth and three-dimensionality that draws the attention of the viewer.
The details of the petals, with their sinuous shapes and soft shades, evoke the image of human organs such as the heart, lungs or intestines, creating an interesting analogy between the beauty of nature and the complexity of the human body.
Through this work, I wanted to explore the deep bond between the human being and the natural world, inviting viewers to reflect on the beauty and complexity of life both in the vegetable and human realms.
