Acrilyc on canvas | 2020
The work depicts an acrylic violet on canvas fits into a context of deep reflection on the meaning and social importance of color. Through my artistic creation, I tried to explore color not only as a natural phenomenon, but also as a complex cultural construct that brings with it a wide range of meanings and associations.
The violet, as the main subject of the work, becomes the focal point through which I explore the social dynamics of color. I chose this flower not only for its aesthetic beauty, but also for the many shades of meaning it can evoke. Through the violet, I tried to explore the complexity of the interactions between colors and their social and cultural implications.
In my work, I examined three colors and connected them together to create a composition that can work both as a whole and individually. I tried to represent a division between colors, engaging in a collaboration that goes beyond the simple juxtaposition. This process of exploration and interaction between colors has emerged not only between one color and another, but also within the same color, creating a dynamic of complexity and nuances that reflects the complexity of the company itself.
Through my work, I wanted to highlight the fact that color is more than a simple visual perception, but rather a phenomenon intrinsically linked to culture, history and human society. The violet thus becomes a means through which to explore and better understand the social dynamics of color and its complexity as a social phenomenon.
